Okanagan Lake Week at a Glance

Camp activities to look forward to:

Saturday

  • 12 noon — 5:00 p.m. Check in with the Camp Registrar at the Campground Office. After 5 p.m., check-in at the Camp Manager's site on the beach. Bring all necessary completed forms.
    DO NOT proceed to your site before checking in.
  • Set up and explore, check your child's group/Moniteur at the white Coffee Tent (near the beach). Sign up to feed a Moniteur.
  • 7:00 p.m. Welcome get together and introductory skit for everyone on the Grassy Field. Bring a chair.
  • 8:30 p.m. Parent meetings for Teen Programs — ALL PARENTS of TEENS MUST ATTEND.
  • 9:00 p.m. Wine and Cheese (adults only please) at the coffee tent. Bring something to drink and a snack to share. Meet other parents and the Moniteurs.

Note: A Canoe/Kayak Workshop and a Tie-Dye Workshop will be held early in the camp week — find out info at the morning parent meeting.

Sunday — Tuesday

  • 9:00 a.m. Meet at the Grassy Field (listen for the drums).
  • 9:15 a.m. Daily parent meetings at the Coffee Tent. Please attend daily as important information is relayed.
  • 11:45 a.m. Kids home for lunch. Pre-K parents must pick up their children at the grassy field after each session — please be on time.
  • 1:30 p.m. Meet again at the Grassy Field.
  • 4:00 p.m. Kids are dismissed for the day and sent back to their campsites.
  • 7:00 p.m. Meet at the Grassy Field for skits or evening family games.

Wednesday

  • Day off for everyone to explore the Okanagan or just relax at camp! No parent meeting or evening skit/activities.

Thursday — Friday

  • 9:00 a.m. Meet at the Grassy Field (listen for the drums).
  • 9:15 a.m. Daily parent meetings at the Coffee Tent. Please attend daily as important information is relayed.
  • 11:45 a.m. Kids home for lunch.
  • 1:30 p.m. Meet again at the Grassy Field.
  • 4:00 p.m. Kids are dismissed for the day and sent back to their campsites.
  • 7:00 p.m. Meet at the Grassy Field for skits or evening family games. On the Friday night the Grand Finale happens along with t-shirt signing (remember to wear or bring your camp t-shirt and maybe a flashlight).

Saturday

  • 11:00 a.m. Check-out time — others will be waiting for your site so please depart on time.

We thought you might enjoy a sample of what our teen programs could look like for your week at camp. Please note that programs change each year and this should be used as a guide only. All activities are age appropriate and have been explored thoroughly by our moniteurs prior to camp.
