Shuswap Lake Campground Information
July is the time for BCFFC Shuswap Camp. During two fun-filled weeks in July, Pierre's Point Campground comes alive with the thrill and excitement of our Shuswap BC Family French Camp.

From Kamloops, the camp is approximately 101 km and a 1 hour and 21 minute drive.
- Depart Kamloops, B.C. on TC-1 (HWY-97) heading east for approximately 101 km
- Turn LEFT onto Pierres Point Rd for about 350 meters
- Turn LEFT into Pierre's Point Campground
From Revelstoke, the camp is approximately 112 km and a 1 hour and 36 minute drive.
- Depart Revelstoke, B.C. on TC-1 (west) for approximately 112 km
- Turn RIGHT onto Pierres Point Rd for about 350 meters
- Turn LEFT into Pierre's Point Campground
From Kelowna, the camp is approximately 123 km and a 1 hour and 52 minute drive.
- Depart Kelowna, B.C. on BC-97 N (Shuswap Hwy) east and then north for approximately 62 km
- Continue onto Vernon-Sicamous Hwy/BC-97A N (signs for Salmon Arm/Sicamous) for approximately 33 km
- Turn left onto British Columbia 97b S/Grindrod-Salmon Arm Hwy (signs for BC-97B/Salmon Arm) and continue for approximately 14.4 km
- Turn left onto 10th Ave NE/Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W (signs for Trans-Canada Highway W/Kamloops Salmon Arm) and continue to follow Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W for approximately 13 km
- Turn RIGHT onto Pierres Point Rd for about 350 meters
- Turn LEFT into Pierre's Point Campground
Pierre's Point Campground
Situated 7.7 km west of Salmon Arm on the Trans-Canada highway (watch for the blue billboards), Pierre's Point Campground provides a variety of campsites and services for our families enjoyment.
Key features of this campground include sandy beach front, swimming, convenience store, food concession, shaded grassed sites, mini-golf and horseshoes. Central showers, flush toilets, and a sani-station are also offered.
Close to golf, tennis, fishing, shopping and wonderful tourist attractions in Salmon Arm, Pierre's Point has everything your family will need for a great vacation!
Pierre's Point Campground has a total of 70 sites available to BCFFC this year. Please note that ALL SITES have power and water.
Important: While we make every reasonable effort to fill the various requests of our camp families, there is NO GUARANTEE that you will receive the services, area, site or camp week of your preference. Site allocation is determined by the date that the Registrar initially receives your application payment and proof of CPF membership, the limitations of the campground, and the speed in which each week's program fills. Please note that caps are in place for all programs and families may be required to camp in their second week preference. Your application number must be recorded on both of the cheques you mail to the camp Registar.
Camp families should be prepared to camp in any area of the campground that may be available. Your campsite number will be included in the May information notice that will be sent to your email address you provided when completing your application.
No spots can be held or reserved by phone or e-mail under any circumstances.
Summer 2012 Camping Fees
Camping fees for Summer 2012 are as follows:
- 15 amp power / water site: $392.00 ($350 + $42.00 HST)
- 30 amp power / water site: $425.60 ($380 + $45.60 HST)
- Staying offsite: $112.00 ($100.00 + $12.00 HST)
Some campers may not require power, however, all sites are priced as such.
