BC Family French Camp has a limited number of bursaries available based on financial need. For details, please contact the Vancouver Island Registrar at vireg@bcffc.com.

The BCFFC applications can be completed online only. There will be no forms mailed out. You will need to complete and submit your application and then follow the Payment and Mailing Instructions below to complete the application process.

Payment and Mailing Instructions

Mail the following three items directly to the Vancouver Island Registrar at the mailing address below. Your application will not be processed until all three items are received. NSF cheques will result in a $30 charge.

  1. ONE CHEQUE or money order:
    1. for half of the Total Payment amount that will be displayed once you have completed the online application
    2. payable to BC Family French Camp
    3. post-dated to February 1, 2012
    4. clearly noting your Application Number
    DO NOT MAIL CASH.
  2. ONE CHEQUE or money order:
    1. for the second half of the Total Payment amount that will be displayed once you have completed the online application
    2. payable to BC Family French Camp
    3. post-dated to May 1, 2012
    4. clearly noting your Application Number
    DO NOT MAIL CASH.
  3. CPFProof of your existing CPF membership that expires September 1, 2012, or later. This can be either (1) a photocopy of your laminated membership card or (2) the label from a recent newsletter, but must clearly show when your membership expires.

If you are becoming a new CPF member or submitting a renewal application to CPF, download and complete a CPF membership form [PDF] and enclose this membership form along with a separate current dated cheque or money order payable to the Canadian Parents for French. Do not mail your membership form directly to Canadian Parents for French as this will delay your BCFFC application from being processed.
Do not mail these with your payment and CPF information — bring them with you to camp!

NOTE: Personal Health Forms and Consent, Assumption of Risks, and Release Forms MUST be handed in to the Camp Registrar or Camp Manager on arrival at the campground. You will not have access to your site until this is done. You need to print and complete one copy of the Personal Health Form for each child attending a BCFFC program and one Consent, Assumption of Risks, and Release Form per family. If you are bringing a child from another family with you, you will also need separate Health and Consent, Assumption of Risks, and Release Forms for that child, signed by a parent of the child. These forms are available on our Downloads page.

Cancellation Policy

Please note the BCFFC cancellation policy. The following policy applies to all applicants that have been confirmed to camp including confirmed applications for guest children. No cancellation administration fees are charged to families who are on a waitlist or do not have a confirmed spot in a BCFFC camp.

  1. Cancellation from any BC Family French Camp location must be received in writing or e-mail by the registrar of the specific camp.
  2. If you cancel prior to February 1, BCFFC will refund the full amount of your program and camping fees. BCFFC will securely destroy any cheques received from you.
  3. If you cancel on or after February 1, BCFFC will refund the full amount of your program and camping fees, less a $50 administration fee.
  4. If you cancel on or after March 1, BCFFC will refund the full amount of your program and camping fees, less a $100 administration fee.
  5. If you cancel on or after May 1, no refund will be granted. If, prior to the start of your registered time at camp, you provide your camp registrar a written letter from a medical professional outlining a reason why your family cannot attend, BCFFC will refund the full amount of your program and camping fees, less a $100 administration fee. The final decision on refunds granted in these situations lies solely with the BC Family French Camp Society.
